This piece lists the minimum wage for each state in effect in January of 2015. No matter what state you live in it is difficult to live comfortably on the minimum wage that is paid in that state.

Working in a fast food establishment is generally accepted to be a minimum wage job. Most of the workers in these jobs are teenagers or unskilled laborers who likely work another job to make ends meet.

With the internet and social media increasing in usage there are more ways to spread rumours about people that can harm their personal relationships or their reputation. It can be done more anonymously. This piece is showing the ease with which someone may handle the fallout from  a relationship they had a hand in destroying.

So many people are struggling to make ends meet with the price of groceries, gasoline for their cars, utility bills and rent all increasing but paychecks not increasing at the same rate. The minimum wage is not increasing and with unemployment still very high people are not able to change jobs as easily. This piece is intended to show the desperation of people struggling financially.
